Sydni’s commitment to health equity is deeply rooted in her educational background. She holds a bachelor of science in public health sciences and a master of science in environmental health sciences from the University of Michigan.
Beyond her professional contributions, Sydni finds joy in yoga, travel, and the comfort of reading mystery novels alongside her beloved pitbull, showcasing a balanced approach to her work and personal life.
Sidney Wuycheck, M.U.P. (She/Her) serves as a dedicated Senior Research Associate at JFM Consulting, where her role is instrumental in supporting project managers with data collection, analysis, and ensuring the effectiveness of evaluation planning.
Her journey to JFM began after her tenure as an Environmental Justice Intern at the Ingham County Health Department, where she honed her skills in addressing crucial environmental justice issues.
Sidney's academic achievements, including a bachelor's degree in social relations and policy from Michigan State University and a master's degree in urban planning from Wayne State University, underscore her commitment to using data-driven approaches to advocate for equitable practices and positive community transformation.

Maeko Leigh McGovern (She/They) is a Research Associate at JFM Consulting. She started her career at JFM as a Project Administrator while pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Public Health, which she completed in August 2023. Maeko has been actively supporting project managers in coordinating stakeholder outreach, conducting qualitative and quantitative data analysis, facilitating focus groups, and conducting interviews. She approaches her work from a systemic lens with a commitment to equitable practices, evidence-based research methods, and resident-based engagement for all research and evaluation.
Maeko grew up in Flint, MI, and prior to joining JFM she represented the City of Flint as a Public Health Navigator. In this role, Maeko represented the City of Flint at community outreach events, assisted in developing a water sampling compliance protocol for the Public Health Department, and developed program implementation efforts for an LGBTQ+ Inclusivity project for the department. Maeko holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Health and is currently pursuing a Master's in Public Administration with a concentration in Social and Public Policy at the University of Michigan-Flint. Maeko's initial career opportunities revolved around the Flint Water Crisis and its impact on resilience. As a result, she has a professional, academic, and personal foundation that advocates for equity and research that ensures community sustainability to drive equitable change within communities.
Apart from her work, Maeko enjoys writing, reading, and painting. These activities are spaces of creativity and joy that aid in her work at JFM Consulting Group. Jason Gapa, M.P.A. (He/Him) stands as a cornerstone within JFM Consulting, embodying the roles of Senior Project Manager and Operations Manager with unparalleled commitment. Jason orchestrates a diverse array of projects, from community development to pilot initiatives and well-being, leveraging his exceptional skills in both evaluation and facilitation.

Greg Matthews, M.A. (He/Him) joined the JFM team in 2021 as Managing Director, bringing a seasoned background in business development, process improvement, and client project leadership.
His professional path is distinguished by a dedication to fostering social impact through research and evaluation, with pivotal roles at notable institutions like the Altarum Institute, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Child Trends enhancing his expertise.
This diverse professional background is complemented by his academic pursuits at the University of Washington in Seattle, where he not only completed his master’s degree but also undertook coursework towards a Ph.D. in sociology.

Felecia Bennett-Clark, M.A. (She/Her) has been a dynamic force at JFM Consulting Group since 2018, serving as a Senior Project Manager. Before joining JFM, Felecia served as the Director of Evaluation and Research at a local community mental health agency, where her extensive experience in both academic and community settings laid a solid foundation for her current work. This experience, aligned with her contributions to the field, was recognized when Felecia received the MAE Service Award in 2023. Her scholarly work has been featured in esteemed publications such as the National Council of Behavioral Health and the Journal of Dual Diagnosis.
Felecia's academic credentials are equally impressive; she holds both bachelor's and master’s degrees in political science from Wayne State University. Moreover, she has achieved ABD status, having completed her doctoral coursework and qualifying exams, a journey she has paused to focus on family commitments.

Akilah Patterson, M.P.H. (She/Her) excels in her role as the Strategy, Research, and Evaluation Fellow at JFM Consulting Group.
Akilah's distinguished body of work, including publications in esteemed academic journals like the Journal of Drug Issues and the Journal of Affective Disorders, alongside presentations at national conferences, strengthens her contributions to public health research and the effects of racial discrimination on mental health in adolescents and emerging adults.
With a foundation built on a master’s degree in public health from Emory University and dual bachelor’s degrees in health education and communication from the University of Cincinnati, she brings a rich academic and practical perspective to her work. Furthermore, her commitment to advancing public health research is evidenced by her current pursuit as a doctoral candidate in the Department of Health Behavior and Health Education at the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health.
Akilah enjoys enriching her life through travel, dance, and culinary adventures, staying active with dance classes and Peloton rides, and finding joy in the simple pleasures of life with family and friends.
Jane Fran Morgan (She/Her/Hers) is the founder and President of JFM Consulting Group and has provided consulting services to the nonprofit, philanthropic and public sectors for 30 years. At JFM, Jane leads a team of highly skilled and passionate consultants delivering innovative and customized strategy, planning and evaluation solutions. Jane applies her extensive strategic and analytical experience in developing solutions to the complex challenges facing organizations, foundations and agencies striving to achieve measurable and sustainable change. As a seasoned facilitator, Jane enjoys co-designing and facilitating interactive and engaging planning sessions, trainings, and convenings to achieve optimal results. Jane strives to center equity in all aspects of her work, an intentional practice that is embedded in the JFM’s culture.
A native Detroiter, Jane returned home after spending several years in Houston and Austin, Texas, where she earned a master’s degree in public affairs. She worked in philanthropy and later made the transition to consulting while taking courses toward a Ph.D. in urban and regional studies at the University of Michigan. In her free time, Jane loves to spend time with friends and family doing just about anything, especially if food is involved! She loves to travel, a reflection of her adventurous spirit, and strives to stay open to trying new things. Jane also enjoys the outdoors and appreciates a range of activities in or on the water. A huge film buff, Detroit’s close proximity to Toronto has enabled her to attend the Toronto International Film Festival for more than 20 years.
